NBA Finals Game 6. Whose side are you on?

Game six of the NBA finals today, Sunday, June 12, 2011 with the Dallas Mavericks leading the series 3-2. The game starts today at 8pm Eastern time which will be held at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, FL and will be televised on ABC.

Personally, I'm rooting for the Dallas Mavericks. I'm a fan of Dirk Nowitzki for years now and, I believe that it's his time to win an NBA Championship. Dirk's been in the league for a long time. He works hard and he is really determined.

For me, LeBron, Wade, and Bosh still have a long way to go. They are younger than Dirk and their future holds a lot to them as long as they'll improve their team work. Don't get me wrong, I think that Miami's Big Three are very talented but, I think they need to prove more as Miami's "Big Three".

We all have different opinion about the series. Different teams...
So, whose side are you on and why?

C.O Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm review

This is a review of the new C.O Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm. The reason why I just posted this is because I wanted to try the product first before giving my verdict.

I purchased this about a week ago along with other items, like the C.O Bigelow Rose Salve, from Bath and Body Works.
I've seen women from videos, movies, and from real life applying balm on their lips during night time, and this kept me curious and wondering what kind of product is that...I mean, is it ordinary lip balm? Some kind of a treatment? Or something else???
So, alas! I came across this product and decided to give it a try!
Here goes...

The product claims of "8 hour overnight recovery" and "intense overnight moisturization". This statement made me skeptical but optimistic at the same time.
I had a chapped bottom lip that day and it was painful! My lip balm wasn't helping much either. So that night before I went to bed, I squeezed out some product on my finger and applied it on my lips... instant relief!

I was taken by surprise because I was expecting that this product was going to be just any ordinary lip balm. The product itself is thick, so just put a small amount on your finger! It also helps on prepping your lips for the next day if you're going to put lipstick, and lipgloss because the balm leaves the lips smooth.

The cons about this product is that it leaves a film-like residue on your lips the next day. But don't worry! A little water clears it up! And I wish that they have it in a larger tube size because it is smaller than the regular tubes of Mentha balms and glosses.

I love this balm. I do. So much!!!

You can buy the C.O Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm for $7.50 at Bath and Body Works, or at the C.O Bigelow website.

C.O Bigelow Rose Salve

I went to Bath and Body Works last weekend just to look around and see if they still have my favorite scent which is Black Raspberry Vanilla. Thankfully they still have it!

Anyway, I thought I wasn't going to buy anything but I fell from the temptations around me *surprise surprise!*. I bought a couple of items and, one of it is the C.O Bigelow Rose Salve. I know that this is not a new item and I recently saw this available at another store (which I cannot remember the name. Sorry (T_T)) which is why I decided to try it.

The C.O Bigelow is the "Classic All-Purpose Salve" and has a .9% Rose extract. It is developed by Bigelow Chemists and the product is NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS. The product claims that it has the "...ability to care for lips and beautify skin. Emulsified with extra soothing Rose Extract which helps ease irritation and conditions the skin"

I must say, I really liked it. I tried it on my cuticles because it gets dried a lot, and I wanted to have healthy looking cuticles. The C.O Bigelow Rose Salve does the work for me. I also tried it on my lips, and my elbows and it just smoothes and soothes my skin. You can also use this on your face, and knees (though I have not tried that yet).

You can buy the C.O Bigelow Rose Salve ($5.50) at Bath and Body Works, at the C.O Bigelow website, or if you live in New York you can just pop by their apothecary. :)
